It seems the real murderer amongst you has already hidden some evidence, and will hide more if you aren’t fast. Find possible weapons, locate witnesses, and interview the Intrigue Staff to learn as much as you can and figure out the murderer, or else you are all arrested!

A Robbery on the Intrigue Express

A century ago, a daring robbery of the infamous Intrigue Express occurred, with tons of rare artifacts on their way here taken as the locomotive passed through a stretch of rural farmland. While some of the robbers were caught, we have continued to try and identify who on the train acted as the inside man, and likely could lead us to those missing artifacts after all these years later.

One of the Intrigue founders, Collin Thatch III, inherited both an immense treasure and various artifacts from the Age of Sail from his grandfather. His grandfather, Collin Thatch I, was a prisoner and eventual friend of the famed captain Helena Williams. She gave him her map in case and he hunted for years to find the treasure on a lost island. Collin Thatch III has placed the sealed chest here in Intrigue, but said we would only place such treasures on display if we could prove ourselves and complete a treasure hunt of our own, prepared and based on the same hunt from all those years ago.

Intrigue sponsored an expedition to cross the Arctic Circle in 1967, yet nobody returned alive. Our own professor Jakob Mayes seemingly developed an obsession with an old book purporting a magical island far to the north, and he may have led them astray in his quest. Yet, oddly enough, many of their possessions have been returned and are now on display. Get to the bottom of what happened to the six people who left that fateful day, learn their story, discover if there were any survivors, and most importantly, find out what happened to one of the rarest books in history, the same one that drove Professor Mayes to madness: The Inventio Fortunata.

However, Sometimes he forgets and gets himself locked in, so he has left clues around his office that will help him escape. You have been summoned to his office for a meeting to discuss your project, once you enter, the door locks and you realize the professor is not inside and you are trapped. You must find the crystal ball and a little bit of magic will show you the way. You have one hour to get out or be stuck in this alternate world forever!
