The Office Christmas Party players are invited to join other players at a central London office location to take part in a programme of volunteer assistance with the police. Live actors greet them and will assist, but not guide, their deliberations. Players are presented with physical evidence, sworn statements, and CCTV relating to the fictional party gone sour. Players interrogate witnesses several times, and are encouraged to cross-reference with the evidence. When the time is up, players are asked to vote on what the police should do next.

Players work with the characters and unravel the truth, finding a labyrinth of clues and lies to unpick, including hacking into telephone systems. When the time is up, players are asked to vote on a conclusion: what happened to Scott Davies?
