Deshalb wendete sich Nox, die Göttin der Nacht, gegen Lucifer und sprach: "Nur der Wechsel von Tag und Nacht, von hell und dunkel, kann für ein Gleichgewicht der Welt sorgen." Doch Lucifer war nicht zu überzeugen: Ein gewaltiger Kampf entbrannte, und schließlich konnte Nox ihren Widersacher besiegen. Die Göttin der Nacht schmetterte Lucifer auf die Erde nieder. Dabei zerbrach Lucifers Feuer in 77 Teile. Dies brach die Macht des Lichtbringers über das Feuer. Die Scherben des zerbrochenen Feuers verteilten sich über alle Kontinente. Lucifers Macht über das Feuer mag nun gebrochen sein, aber nicht die Macht über seine Anhänger, die schon lange versuchen, das Feuer wieder zusammenzusetzen, um ihrem Meister zu einem neuen Aufstieg zu verhelfen, und sein ewiges Licht zu entfachen. Diese Erben Lucifers schrecken dabei vor nichts und niemandem zurück
