Herald Scotland investigative journalist Sarah Fisher disappeared without a trace a week ago near Blair Manor. This historic place has today been transformed into an escape game center, called “TimeGates”. Your mission if you accept it is to use the time machine to go back a week in the city of Kirkwall. On site, you will have to infiltrate this escape game by pretending to be ordinary customers and thus try to save the journalist before it is too late. Over the last 5 months, local police in Kirkwall have recorded around thirty unsolved disappearances of tourists traveling in small groups. This normally peaceful region is today plunged into uncertainty and fear, investigators suspect the actions of a serial killer. Ewan McAllister, the owner of Blair Manor, is a renowned botanist, specializing in the study of tropical plants. Following a personal tragedy, the loss of his son, Ewan McAllister changed his career direction and moved away from the scientific community. He has since created a mysterious escape game called “TimeGates” in his family mansion, now suspected by local police of being a cover for other activities.

Todo empezó a tomar un matiz muy oscuro... del color de la sangre espesa. La policía intervino cuando una paciente del Doctor West logró escapar de sus garras. La señora Wright fue encontrada un par de calles más alejada del domicilio del doctor, llena de profundos cortes quirúrgicos y al borde de la muerte. Poco más se supo del paradero del Doctor West. Se dice que ahora se pudre en una oscura celda, aislado y completamente loco. Su casa fue comprada por personas desconocidas, aparentemente con un gran interés sobre su trabajo. El sitio se llenó de vigilancia y así ha estado hasta ahora. La llamada de una mujer hace un par de días os sorprendió. Aseguraba tener contactos con el dueño actual del lugar y os ofreció un trato irrechazable. Tendríais acceso a la casa durante una hora para, según ella, recuperar cierto material relacionado con el trabajo del doctor West. Eso fue ciertamente extraño y sorprendente, pero la oportunidad de reabrir las puertas de esa casa y entrar en ella, era superior a cualquier otra cosa. ¿Por qué vosotros? ¿Por qué tanto secreto? ¿Qué habrá tras la puerta de la casa del doctor Robert West?
