Around 700 years ago, Polynesian voyagers were the first people to settle New Zealand, where they thrived and developed the Māori culture. Among their many myths, a lot of stories are told about the great deeds of Maui, a demi-god and trickster hero. Just recently, a treasure map was found with this story written on it: “Maui wanted to go fishing with his brothers, but they would never take him. One night he hid on their waka (canoe) and tricked them into taking him out to sea. Using his own magic fish hook and enchanted fishing line, Maui pulled from the depths the biggest fish any of them had ever seen. This map will lead you to the fish of Maui.” The treasure map had blank squares where 8 missing pieces need to be placed to complete the hunt. Your mission is to identify the 8 pieces and where they go on the map, then you can help Rita and Desmond find the treasure!.
