Closing November 2 - Prior to 1960, Camp Cedar Lake was a group of 7 cabins and a small lake on Mason Grove Road between Jackson and Humboldt. It was a popular get away for groups of all kinds or just individual family vacations. That all changed in October of that year. A group of men wearing Halloween costumes slaughtered everyone in the 6 cabins that were occupied. 22 men, women, and children died that night. Locals were afraid if word got out, that people wouldn’t want to move into this area so it was kept very quiet. Since that day it was called CAMP BLOOD and no one has been in those cabins since they removed the bodies. The woods have grown dense and the cabins have aged but we recently decided to restore the old camp. Strange things are happening as the repairs have started but we are determined to not let anything stop us. Are the warnings written in blood on the walls simple kid pranks? Or are they pure EVIL that has been released because of our disturbance of the site?

Closing November 2 - The unremarkably named VAULT 67 is one of many secure containment facilities located around the world with the dire purpose of securing entities, artifacts, and creatures that are too dangerous to let roam among humanity. The facility uses both ancient magics and state of the art technology to trap, contain, and monitor its collection. The power and threat of each entity/item varies and a variety of containment techniques are utilized. Most can me housed in simple titanium and crystal cases reinforced with runic spells. Other, more powerful entities/items require more elaborate containment. These restless entities require environments that not only secure but also distract and placate their occupants to make them more manageable. These containment zones recreate environments that are familiar for its residents allowing for less confrontation and hostilities. VAULT 67 consists of several of these zones. Even though you will be in proximity to some of the most dangerous and horrifying entities in the known universe, visitors to the facility are guaranteed a safe and comfortable observation of the inhabitants with no risk to your well being. Nothing can possible go wrong.

Temporarily Closed - Frightmare Backwoods – this hillside served as the entry-gate to the valley of the Lexer body farm and mass graves discovered in 1902. Still standing today, the original Lexer Cabin is listed (along with the Manor) on the Hamblen County Historical Preservation List. Walk amongst these woods and you will begin to see, feel, touch, smell and experience for yourself the True Terror of the legendary Frightmare Backwoods. This enormous barn-structure within the Woods is a labyrinth of Fear, Torture, Desperation and Slaughter that literally drips with innocent blood. Every Fall, a different section of this kill-structure is highlighted and unsealed for the public to feel firsthand the actual, gruesome secrets of its historic past. This year, the Backwoods reveals the cavities of the barn where Lexer would segregate and then “gas” his victims – sending them into a hyper-sensitive, psychotic state of intense paranoia. This chemically induced paranoia would eat away at their minds while accentuating and exposing their own fears. The “Mist” of the Backwoods was designed to circulate through the victim’s lungs where the vapors would cling to the inner walls and immediately be absorbed into the bloodstream – sending victims into a psychotic Rage. Lexer experimented with different chemical serums to break-down their minds and transform them into animalistic, flesh-eating creatures. . Jeremiah Lexer was not only a ruthless serial killer but remnants show that he was obsessed with being in control and seeing people break. Lexer’s torturous tactics and experiments pitted his victims against one another. Most within these walls were transformed into cannibalistic flesh-eating humans where only the luckiest would be eaten quickly. This intimidating structure was rebuilt to the exact specifications of the original Lexer blueprints found within the Manor by Sheriff Hays on July 5th, 1902. The evil, master plan of Jeremiah Lexer is now available for viewing upon request within the Hamblen County Archives. Prepare yourself as the enRaged, tortured spirits of the countless Lexer victims return for vengeance on anyone within these blood-stained chambers. Experience your worst nightmares and inhale your greatest fears but whatever happens, “Don’t breathe the Mist.” – Frightmare Backwoods.
