Die dunklen Mächte sind zurückgekehrt und die magische Welt ist dem Untergang geweiht. Baltasar widmete sein späteres Leben der Ausbildung junger Hexen und Zauberer an der Schule, die ihr nun selbst besucht. Es heißt, dass nur der einzigartige Zauberstab Baltasars mächtig genug sei, um den Bann ein erneutes Mal heraufzubeschwören. Man weiß jedoch nicht, wo genau dieser sich befindet. Die Suche führt euch, als Schüler der Zauberschule, in die verbotene Abteilung der Bibliothek. Doch der Schutzzauber, der eure Anwesenheit vor den bösen Mächten verborgen hält, endet in genau 60 Minuten. Unter dem Vorwand die teuersten und prächtigsten Kleider des Orients zu schneidern, verschafft ihr euch eine Audienz beim Sultan, der ganz angetan von der Idee ist sich in feinste Seide hüllen zu lassen. Ihr werdet gebeten in den Gemächern des Sultans zu warten, bis dieser bereit ist seine Maße nehmen zu lassen. Es bleibt also nicht viel Zeit den Raum nach wertvollen Gütern zu durchsuchen und hinter das Geheimnis des Reichtums Harun-Ar-Rashids zu gelangen.
