À chaque anniversaire d'Arold, sa mère lui offrait une boule de verre dans l'espoir de chasser les ombres qui l'entouraient. Les années ne firent qu'aggraver son état. Épuisée et terrifiée, ne pouvant plus le garder caché près de sa chambre, le jour de son quatrième anniversaire, sa mère l'enferma dans les hauteurs poussiéreuses de la grange, le condamnant à une existence solitaire durant 12 longues années. Ce fut jusqu'à une nuit glaciale de l'année 1884, où la mère fit appel à des médecins et à des prêtres pour tenter de venir en aide à Arold. Cependant, une force paranormale les terrifia, suivie d'une puissante coupure de courant plongeant la demeure dans une obscurité terrifiante, les poussant à fuir dans la chapelle voisine. Tous les prêtres qui étaient présents ce soir-là avaient pourtant déjà pratiqué des exorcismes, mais aucun d'entre eux n'avait été confronté à un tel phénomène, tous furent impuissants. Les récits racontent qu'un tableau aurait été peint cette nuit-là et qu'il se trouverait toujours dans la maison. La nuit se termina dans l'horreur, laissant les prêtres et les médecins morts, et la mère pendue à une poutre dans la grange. La légende raconte que chaque année, à la date de son anniversaire, les ombres s'agitent dans la maison, et une silhouette éthérée émerge des profondeurs pour attendre le cadeau de sa mère, une boule de verre qu'elle lui offrait jadis. Aujourd'hui, lorsque la nuit tombe et que le vent souffle à travers les arbres, certains disent encore entendre les échos lointains des cris stridents d'Arold. Les boules de verre, jadis éclatantes de promesses, reposent maintenant dans l'obscurité, témoins silencieux de cette histoire tragique d'une mère et de son fils tourmenté, prisonniers des ténèbres qui les ont engloutis.

This ancient box, etched with cryptic symbols and eerie faces, was said to be cursed, looking for a living human to attach to. One stormy evening, a curious woman named Eliza stumbled upon the hidden room. Drawn by an inexplicable force, Eliza approached the dybbuk Box, feeling a chill run down her spine. Ignoring the warnings etched in the dust-covered books around her, Eliza opened the box. Instantly, the library was plunged into darkness. Whispers filled the room, voices of the damned echoing through the aisles. Eliza's breath quickened as visions of horrific images flashed before her eyes—fires consuming the town, shadows creeping through the streets, and faces twisted in eternal agony. The spirits trapped within the dybbuk Box began to materialize, their ghostly forms swirling around Eliza. Desperate to escape, Eliza tried to close the box, but the spirits' grip was too strong. They clawed at her, their icy fingers leaving marks on her skin. The room seemed to spin, and the walls closed in, trapping Eliza in a vortex of darkness and fear. With a final, sinister scream, Eliza was pulled into the box, her fate sealed. The dybbuk Box, now closed, sat quietly in the library, waiting for its next victim. The library, once a place of knowledge and refuge, had become a gateway to the darkest of horrors.

Closing November 3 - Late one night, eerie whispers seeped from beneath the stairs of an old, decrepit building. Descending down narrow, creaking steps, the whispers grew into unsettling murmurs, leading to a hidden, rotting door at the bottom. Behind it, a chilling entrance to the underground McMinnville Mortuary. Inside lay rows of decaying pews, ancient caskets and grotesque, forgotten relics. The whispers seemed to beckon through a labyrinth of shadows until the sight of nightmarish cemetery. Tombstones, covered in thick, slimy moss and twisted ivy, stood in crooked rows, and the whispers seemed to rise from the very earth beneath. Curiosity digs deeper upon a pair of massive, ominous wooden doors, leading to a dimly lit room dominated by a grand, crumbling staircase. An overwhelming sense of dread fills the air when suddenly, a ghastly woman’s spirit materialized at the top of the stairs. Her face, horrifyingly distorted, and where her eyes should have been, there were only cavernous, black voids. The eyeless woman’s spirit began to glide down the staircase with unnatural speed. The whispers grew into tormented screams as the woman reached out with a skeletal, translucent hand. The spirit’s hollow gaze seemed to tear into the very essence of anyone who dares to near her.
